THE ARTISTE:
Khaki is an Austin, Texas native artist known for her vibrant western and fashion-oriented drawings and designs. Her work exhibits her unique personal style and eclecticism.

Khaki's vibrant pieces merge the spirit of the West with sophisticated elements from across the globe. She grew up taking art classes at The Contemporary at Laguna Gloria where she honed her skills in still life and live figure drawing. For her undergraduate studies, she attended TCU where she earned her bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising and Business. She went on to attend the University of Kentucky Rosenberg College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate. While in college, she fell in love with Early Italian Renaissance art history and enjoyed an array of studio art classes, especially printmaking. Throughout her education she studied the French language, with French culture and words becoming a major source of inspiration for her artistic creations.

Her work has been aptly described as "a cowboy who got lost in St. Tropez or Ibiza" - bringing together a melting pot of inspirations that span western cowboy culture, runway fashion, European ethos, street style, and the timelessness of art history. Whether she is capturing the glamour of a fashion week look or the quiet strength of a horse in Texas, Khaki's work emulates her true passions. Follow along for an exclusive glimpse into her world.
